• Classification - the classes of dangerous goods and the principles of their classification
• Identification - Proper Shipping Names including N.O.S. (Not Otherwise Specified) mixtures and solutions
• Use of the DGL  (Dangerous Goods List)
• Packing
• Marking, Labelling and/or Placarding
• Loading or unloading Cargo Transport Units
• Preparing transport documents
• Stowage and Segregation
• Safe Handling Procedures
• Emergency response procedures
• First aid measures
